As mentioned in the Education Daily article, ‘Community reading initiative expands to support educators and families’, published on 28 January 2025, community education initiative, Five from Five has transitioned to be part of The Academy for the Science of Instruction.

MultiLit is pleased to announce the launch of The Academy for the Science of Instruction – a new initiative that will provide in-depth training to school teachers in essential evidence-based teaching skills. Commencing in June, courses offered by The Academy will range from effective instruction in reading and spelling to classroom behaviour management.
The Academy for the Science of Instruction congratulates its founding members, Chairman Emeritus Professor Kevin Wheldall AM and Dean Dr Mark Carter, who have both been named among the top 1 per cent of scholars worldwide.
The Academy for the Science of Instruction is an initiative of MultiLit.
